‘Walk with Mr Bloom’ this Bloomsday!
This Saturday, 16th June 2012, join our unique Walking Tour through the heart of Dublin City! Morning : 11.30 am & Afternoon: 3.00 pm
So come join in the fun, mayhem and unique atmosphere of Dublin on Bloomsday with a walking tour of the city centre, recalling incidents and places described in Ulysses as Leopold Bloom traversed the city on that epic day.
You don’t need to be a fan of Joyce to enjoy this walking tour. But if you are, you’re certain to find new insights from the blend of information, humour, readings and dramatisations, mainly from the Laestrygonians episode of the book (if you’ve never read Ulysses, it really won’t matter – we promise! But we don’t promise you won’t want to read it after this experience!).
Our guides today will bring it all to life as we revel in an “Oh-So-Dublin!” tradition that happens only once a year (thank goodness – we’ve been doing it every year for the last 19 years!). Join us on our walk, in the morning (11.30 am) or the afternoon (3.00 pm), for a unique ‘literary’ experience and take home some truly distinctive memories. Pre-book to assure your place – 01-4545 943.
