Join us at The James Joyce Centre on Thursday, 11th June at 6pm for the formal launch of this year’s Bloomsday Festival and Bloomsday Film Festival!
The Bloomsday Festival is in full-swing this year with up to 100 events on 11-16th June throughout Dublin. Our reception will feature talks, music, readings and some wine as we celebrate another year of Bloomsday celebrations. Join festival goers around Dublin and the world as we kick off this extraordinary time of the year.
This year’s reception is generously provided by Guinness and The Oarsman, a Georgian pub mentioned in Ulysses (then known as Tunney’s)!
On Bloomsday, we are all Dubliners.
The event is free but booking is essential. Doors open at 5.30pm.
The Bloomsday Festival is organised by The James Joyce Centre in partnership with Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.
