Have you ever wondered what goes into bringing an opera to life? Join us at the James Joyce Centre on Monday, 19 May 2025 at 7pm for L’elisir d’amore . . . In Focus, a special behind-the-scenes evening with The Irish National Opera for their upcoming production of Gaetano Donizetti’s 1832 comedy L’eisir d’amore. Hear from Artistic Director Fergus Sheil, meet members of the cast and creative team, including Irish soprano Claudia Boyle and Seoul-born tenor Duke Kim, and enjoy a live performance of one of the opera’s most beautiful arias.
