The members of the James Joyce Institute of Ireland continue a tradition of more than thirty years by holding a pre-Bloomsday walk to read and reenact sections of Ulysses in their original locations. This year the walk starts at the Prince’s Street corner of the GPO and follows the action of ‘Aeolus’ and ‘Laestrygonians’ as far as Kildare Street. The event is open to the public. There’s no need to dress up, but bring a copy of Ulysses if you have one and be prepared to be asked to read from it. The Institute meets weekly from September to early June to read Joyce’s works and go on occasional expeditions. For further information contact email@example.com.
