Join us for a special screening of the music documentary Hibsen@SmockAlley by Canadian filmmaker Godfrey Jordan (BloomsdayRejoyce) on Wednesday, 3 July 2024 at 12-2pm in the Volta Room. The film highlights the Irish folk ensemble Hibsen in their creation and performance of original songs inspired by Joyce’s Dubliners. The film contains behind-the-scenes footage of musicians Gráinne Hunt and Jim Murphy as they performed in the Smock Alley Theatre as well as interviews with Frank McNally of the Irish Times, among others.

The screening is free. No booking is necessary.
